Jacob plays a traditional supporting friend in "Nice Guys Finish Last," trying to console Gabby after her boyfriend missed her birthday. Jacob stays at Gabby's side, providing comfort and understanding, even though he has feelings for her. The film delves into the intricacies of unrequited love and the difficulties of managing relationships during adolescence through touching scenes and sincere chats. Gabby is forced to face her decisions and the true love that is staring her in the face as Jacob struggles with his own feelings.
The Printmaker

The Printmaker documents the life and work of Anna Kenar, a printmaker and studio professor at UNC Charlotte. It takes place as she prepares a body of work for her show "Carry this Splendor, this Chaos," which was exhibited at Gaston College in 2023.
Blind Date

Blind Date follows Medusa and her journey to find a partner as she participates in a local speed-dating event full of other monsters and cryptids. Through a sense of playfulness and humor, the spooky and supernatural are made more approachable. It explores relatable challenges of relationships—particularly for queer and feminine presenting individuals.

Jack Appleseed is an apple robber and steals some apples, little does he know, Detective Charlie Jones is on his tail and the two go at it.

Gravel Road is a short drama that explores ideas surrounding death, regret, and living a fulfilled life through a southern gothic perspective. The film follows a stubborn and spiteful blue-collar worker who, after getting a flat tire, wanders up a gravel road and finds an old cowboy. The two share drinks, and the cowboy questions the man's fulfillment in life. The cowboy offers him a cigar, and the man learns that “everyone smokes eventually,”.
